The ADCC 2026 World Championships has locked in its complete lineup of 104 competitors ahead of the September 12-13 event at Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland.

Per MMA Mania, the superfight will pit Kaynan Duarte against Yuri Simoes after Gordon Ryan announced his retirement from competition. Duarte won double gold at ADCC 2024, while Ryan held the superfight belt but stepped away citing ongoing health issues. The reigning champions across all eight weight divisions are confirmed to return, including Felipe Pena at over 99 kg, Rafaela Guedes in the women's over 65 kg bracket, and Ana Carolina Viera at women's 65 kg.

ADCC 2026 Division Breakdown And Trial Winners

Each division carries 16 slots in the men's brackets and eight slots in the women's divisions. Trial winners from five continents claimed automatic entry, with the ADCC organisation extending invites to fill the remaining spots. Notable invites include Fabricio Andrey at 66 kg, MMA fighter Mateusz Gamrot at 77 kg, and returning legend Gabi Garcia in the women's over 65 kg class. The 66 kg division features defending champion Diogo Reis alongside trial winners Nikodem Mikuliszyn from EMEA, Dorian Olivarez from the East Coast, and Ryoma Anraku from Asia & Oceania.

The 77 kg bracket includes Mica Galvao as the reigning titleholder, with Magomed Dzharbaev, Jacob Bornemann, and Izaak Michell among the trial winners. At 88 kg, Giancarlo Bodoni defends his title against a field that includes Pawel Jaworski, Jon Blank, and Jozef Chen. The 99 kg division sees Duarte defending his weight class crown in addition to the superfight, with trial winners Declan Moody, Achilles Rocha, and Nicholac Maglicic in the mix.

Pena anchors the over 99 kg category, joined by Mark Macqueen, Brandon Reed, and Tito John Carle among the trial qualifiers. The women's 55 kg division has Adele Fornarino listed as the defending champion, though recent reports indicate she may be replaced. Viera leads the 65 kg women's bracket, and Guedes holds the over 65 kg title.

The organisation made two late substitutions in July, per the outlet, removing Izaak Michell after legal issues surfaced and replacing Fornarino with Valerie Hamilton following her booking in a separate UFC BJJ tournament. Taylor Pearman filled Michell's slot at 77 kg. The full roster now stands at 104 confirmed competitors across all brackets with five weeks until opening mat.
