Navarrete Beats Nunez To Unify At 130

Emanuel Navarrete (WBO Champ) stopped Eduardo Nunez to pick up the IBF belt in the 11th round to unify at featherweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super featherweight, as you can see how the fight played out live.

Navarrete, the 31-year-old three-division champion, most recently faced Charly Suarez in May 2025. The fight was ruled a technical decision win for Navarrete. However, the result was later overturned to a no-contest by the California State Athletic Commission after video evidence proved a fight-ending cut was caused by a legal punch from Suarez rather than a headbutt. Meanwhile, Nunez secured the vacant IBF strap by beating Masanori Rikiishi in Japan. He then beat Christopher Diaz and most recently Christopher Diaz-Velez.
