Mike Tyson’s Physique Wows Fans Ahead Of Jake Paul Fight
Mike Tyson showed off his physique, which has gotten fans talking ahead of his fight with Jake Paul on November 15.
Tyson will box professionally for the first time since 2005 when he came up short against Kevin McBride. That would be his final pro fight as he would retire from the sport as a former Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. He did box once again in 2020 when he took on Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition that ended in a draw. The fight sold over a million PPVs, showing just how much Tyson could drum up interest for his fights. He will be 58 years old by the time he enters the ring. There are significant concerns over his safety, given that he pulled out of the original July 20 date.
This was after he suffered from an inflamed ulcer. He will box against a much younger Paul, who has taken boxing seriously of late. He won his last four bouts since his first defeat against Tommy Fury. Three of Paul’s last bouts have been knockout wins against Andre August, Ryan Bourland and Mike Perry. But his only loss came against a professional boxer in Fury. Although Tyson no longer boxes professionally, he will have it in his long-term memory.
Tyson’s Physique
Paul will also box for the first time at heavyweight, as he will bulk up to over 200 pounds. That could slow down Paul later in the fight. Tyson has made significant changes for this fight. He has said that he will not have weed, sex and has gone on a raw meat diet. Reports also indicate that he may be using hypnosis. The following pictures show Tyson showing off his build. The boxer’s abs are visible as he is putting in the hard yards.
The pair have traded verbals ahead of this fight with Paul questioning whether Tyson has the heart. He outlined how Mike wanted eight rounds, which were two minutes each, indicating that he could not last in a real fight. However, Tyson hit back at those claims, stating that once he catches Paul, the fight will change as he does not see him being able to handle his power.
“I see him running around and I have to try and catch him and slaughter him. Mike Tyson stated in the interview discussing his return to the boxing ring against Jake Paul. He’s a good little fighter but he’s only had ten fights which is considered as an amateur in our field.
“I have to catch him and slaughter him. No [I don’t fear for him] because he stepped into the ring. If my mother steps into the ring, she has a problem with me. Don’t go in the ring if you don’t want that problem… Jake believes his own lies sometimes. When you’re in a big fight, you have to become delusional and believe you’re somebody that you’re actually not. He’s in a lot of trouble,” Tyson said
