Mike Tyson 'Military' Style Training Puts Jake Paul Fans In A Panic

Mike Tyson showed off his skills in his latest training session ahead of the Jake Paul fight.

The duo will face off on July 20 as Tyson has his first fight since his 2020 exhibition with Roy Jones Jr. Tyson will be 58 by the time he gets into the ring, hoping to overcome the much younger Paul at 28. Tyson has been pushing the limits to get himself ready for the fight. The following footage shows Tyson hitting the pads as he closes the distance, showing a possible body attack when he faces Paul.

But before that can be considered, several hurdles are in the way. Paul is keen on getting the fight sanctioned as a pro bout. The current comments indicate a mixed narrative over the state of the fight. Tyson has stated it is an exhibition, only to qualify the statement by saying it is a ‘fight.’ Paul reacted to those comments and clarified that steps are being taken to make it a pro-fight.

“Yeah man, it’s so annoying. People on the internet will believe anything they see or hear. There’s been so much misinformation, we know this more than anyone. Mike and I want this to be a pro fight, with full face shots. We’re submitting that request to the commission. It’s an all-out war. There’s been all these fake videos about not being able to hit each other, big gloves, all that stuff. It’s all, as [Donald] Trump would say, fake news,” Paul stated

Paul is also desperate to make a statement. He is in the best form of his career since losing to Tommy Fury. Paul suffered his first defeat, which was against a pro boxer. The Problem Child returned to the drawing board and came out with a new mindset.

He stopped Andre August and Ryan Bourland in first-round KOs. While the Tyson fight does not take Paul a step closer to a world title, plenty is still on the line. A loss damages Paul’s brand since he is boxing a much older fighter. But he will receive over $20 million for the fight, giving him an incentive to perform well. That is what he intends to do.

“He can’t bite my ear off if I knock his teeth out. I’m the faster man. He’s the much stronger man, but I’m fresh. He’s experienced. I’m smart but in the ring he may be smarter, so it’s a really interesting match-up. It’s going to be tough. He looks like a beast, he’s a dog, he’s ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson but I believe I have what it takes to beat him and I know this is the toughest test of my life and it’s an honour to be in there with Mike, but at the end of the day I’m going to be the one who gets my hand raised,” Paul stated
