McGregor Rips Khabib Via A DM Over Unpaid Taxes, Offers To Buy His House – ‘Where Is The Toilet Roll?’
Conor McGregor has trolled Khabib Nurmagomedov following the latter’s financial issues.
According to reports, Khabib is facing court action for the unpaid sum of approximately $900,000. This is in relation to unpaid taxes, which are alleged to be more than $3 million. There are suggestions that Khabib’s tax documents showed irregularities, with reports that the Russian government froze his bank accounts.
Several of Khabib’s ventures, such as his charity and his Eagle FC MMA Promotion, are being investigated. The former UFC Lightweight Champion is deemed to have used the money from the unpaid taxes to invest it overseas in Turkey and the UAE. The courts have now taken action to raise that money.
McGregor On Khabib
Nurmagomedov could lose his car collection worth more than $800,000. He has numerous cars: a BMW 7 Series, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Tacoma, Ferrari California T, Mercedes-Benz AM GT S and a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Khabib’s house in Dagestan could now be sold to recoup the rest of the sum. While Khabib’s team has yet to comment on this, McGregor has had a few choice words about the incident. He sent a direct message to Khabib, offering to buy his house in a sly dig.
“Brotha I just put in to buy your family home off government because you can’t afford I plan on big smelly Irish [stuff]. Brotha I take big [poo] in your house. [And] brotha you abandon from family and now I take your house…Brotha where is the toilet roll?”
McGregor and Khabib’s feud has escalated since they faced off at UFC 299. Khabib won the fight via fourth-round submissions. But the build-up was clouded by mass controversy. McGregor attacked Khabib’s team bus while the Irishman made several comments towards his opponent’s Islamic faith. Once Khabib stopped McGregor, he jumped over the Octagon as a brawl broke out between the camps.
McGregor-Khabib Feud
McGregor never got the chance to avenge his loss, but he has stopped himself from mocking Khabib. McGregor also hit out at Khabib following reports that the Russian government had killed Gadzhimurad Kagirov. The man was accused of committing terrorist attacks in Dagestan.
It later transpired that he had attended Khabib’s gym. Although there is nothing to show that he was a member of Khabib’s team, McGregor took that as a chance to fire verbal shots at his former rival. The man was alleged to have conducted terror attacks in Dagestan. It transpired that Kagirov attended Khabib’s gym, although he was not a member of team Khabib.
“In the terrorists gym when a tester showed up they would hold him hostage and give a random clean persons urine vs the fighters they were looking to test. All will come out now. When this comes down on top of them, watch what surfaces. There is a video of khabib walking into a premise full of people and smashing it up entirely with a bat, threatening all those inside. All will come out. Mystic Mac,” McGregor said
This has raised speculation over whether Khabib will return to the UFC. There is nothing to indicate that he will, leaving Khabib with a major problem to resolve his financial issues.
