Leon Edwards Vs. Belal Muhammad Predictions – ‘He’s Gonna Finish The Job’
Leon Edwards takes on Belal Muhammad at UFC 304, with MMA pros making predictions.
Edwards defends his UFC Welterweight Title for the third time, which he picked up against Kamaru Usman at UFC 278 in 2022. He won the rematch a year later and defended it successfully against Colby Covington. This is a rematch of their 2021 clash, which ended in a no-contest.
The bout became a no-contest after Edwards accidentally poked Belal in the eye, meaning he could no longer continue. Edwards knows a win sets up bigger fights, possibly against UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev if he moves up to welterweight. Alternatively, Edwards suggested he move up to middleweight.
Since that no-contest, Belal has won five in a row. He enters the fight with a win over Gilbert Burns. He has been training with Khabib Nurmagomedov, which could give him an edge if he can utilize his grappling game. During their face-off at the final presser, Belal remained composed, not flinching when Edwards made a lunge towards him. It has set up an entertaining clash with many UFC fighters having their say.
