Eubank Jr. Threatens Nigel Benn During EXPLOSIVE Presser

Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn’s second presser produced fireworks, although it was not as explosive as the first.
The first presser ahead of their April 26 clash produced mass controversy after Eubank slapped Benn with an egg. Nigel Benn reacted by grabbing Eubank by his neck as security diffused the situation. Security responded by searching Eubank for this presser, as there was no repeat of the first encounter. However, the presser did throw up more fireworks.
Eubank was once again taking on Eddie Hearn, trying to silence the Matchroom Boxing promoter. Eubank also turned his attention to Nigel Benn, warning him that there would be consequences if he laid his hands on him again. The fight has already seen 130,000 people be in line for the presale tickets, showing the huge demand. The second presser did not disappoint, as the two camps continued to exchange insults.
Presser
“Did I cross the line? I mean, during this whole process over the past two-and-a-half years I think many lines have been crossed. I’m sitting up here today on a stage with two of the scummiest characters in boxing, in my opinion, a drug cheat and a man who did everything in his power to help him get away with it.
“So me throwing an egg at somebody who absurdly claims that’s why he failed two drug tests, because of contaminated eggs, I think that’s light and I think that’s deserved. He deserved the embarrassment of what happened. If I had an opportunity to do it again, I would. Unfortunately I come unarmed today. I’ve been thoroughly searched multiple times today, couldn’t sneak any in.
“I did what I needed to do. I embarrassed a drug cheat, which is what is needed in this sport. [And] I won’t let these people not be accountable for their actions. We can’t let them cheat, get caught cheating and then act like it’s okay – ‘I’m clear and I can’t say why’. If you get caught with drugs in your system, especially against me, you’re going to get an egg in your face.”

“He’s an idiot. That’s all there is to say to it and I can’t wait for him to get absolutely smashed to pieces, April 26. His own team don’t even like him. Look at his team, watch the press conference. His own team don’t even like him, they’re pretending,” Benn
“I understand the frustration and the heat that you were experiencing a couple of days ago after I egged Conor…But you did put your hand on my neck and I’m going to give you a pass because of what happened, but I’m just letting you know if your hand ever touches me again you won’t get it back,” Eubank Jr.
