Worapon Sor Dechapan Ready to Greet Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree

Worapon Sor Dechapan didn’t have the dream start to his career in ONE Championship. But that’s OK. Online boxing news shows Muay Thai is more welcoming than other combat disciplines about accepting losses.
With how often young Muay Thai fighters are called into action, it is difficult for even high-level fighters not to take a loss. Since losing to Sibsan Nokkhao KorMor11 in May 2023, Worapon has bounced back with two victories.
Worapon got on other people’s radars by beating Slatan Jitmuangnon with a head-kick knockout. Worapon will get to fight another experienced opponent when he fights Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree at ONE Friday Night Fights 73. Panrit appeared on ONE Friday Night Fights six times.
It took Panrit some time to get into the flow of being on the big stage. Panrit, 27, lost three of his first four fights after signing with ONE. But 2024 has treated Panrit much better.
He won both fights in 2024, including a victory in the decision to win against Alexey Balyko in March. Some of Panrit’s improvements have come from being a part of the Superbon Training Camp. Both men in this fight will be eager to cap off this action-packed card with a win. After battling through some early adversity, both men have found their comfort level.
Worapon would like to find a way to collect another win to keep building his name recognition.
Sanpet Sor Salacheep Looks to Extend Streak

Sanpet Sor Salacheep has hit the ground running since joining ONE. Most recently, Sanpet impressed fans by scoring a second-round knockout win over Nuengubon Wankhongohm MBK at One Friday Fights 63. Sanpet continuing to improve will be important for people looking at MMAfighting latest news.
His fight this weekend should give everyone an idea of his progress when he fights Watcharaphon Singha Mawynn. Watcharaphon is a former Omnoi Stadium Champion. Both men have knockout power and should produce an exciting fight.
Gonzalez Will Have to Prove Himself Again

Xavier Gonzalez escaped with a split-decision win over Win Sitjanim in May. However, Gonzalez won’t be able to bathe in the glory of that win for very long. ONE decided to pair those two men up again to have a more definitive winner.
Win hasn’t had too much luck in ONE, even considering his controversial loss to Gonzalez. Win is 1-2 overall, with his one victory coming by knockout, but he will need to find a way to impress judges if he wants long-term success.
Gonzalez has traded wins and losses during his six fights in ONE. However, Gonzalez has been more consistent recently. He has won three of his past four fights. Gonzalez is a durable fighter who has never been knocked out. Win must put the pace on Gonzalez to get revenge for his earlier loss.
George Jarvis Ready to Flex His Credentials
George Jarvis has the tools to be successful in Muay Thai. The 24-year-old English Muay Thai fighter became a WBC Muay Thai World Champion before making it to ONE. Jarvis split a pair of fights in ONE so far.
He debuted with a split-decision loss in September 2023. Jarvis had to sweat the result during his next fight again five months later when he beat Mustafa Al Tekreeti by split decision. Despite some unsteady moments early in his career, Jarvis was still on the fringes of the rankings.
Jarvis’ upcoming fight with Ricardo Bravo will determine if he can stay there. Bravo has found plenty of success in ONE. So far, all three of his victories have been three straight wins by knockouts. Jarvis must be in his best form to avoid being sent to the canvas.
Alfie Ponting Looks to Make Strong Debut
Jarvis won’t be the only English fighter on the card with strong Muay Thai skills. Alfie Ponting is also a former WBC Muay Thai World champion. His record, which is available on the best MMA news sites, shows that he is 7-3 in his career so far.
Ponting will face an experienced opponent in kickboxing. However, Sonrak Faitex has had little success in his career in ONE. Sonrak is only 2-4 during his ONE career.
Sonrak suffered a four-fight losing streak before finally getting back in the win column last March. Sonrak knocked out Masay Katsuno 13 seconds into the second round in March.
Nazruloev Eager to Protect His Zero
Fighters cherish being undefeated in mixed martial arts. However, with the amount of training information available, it is difficult for young fighters to accumulate all of the knowledge they need to handle different situations before they get a few fights under their belt. Khalim Nazruloev has won the first eight fights of his career and debuted in ONE with a knockout win in January.
The question for Nazruloev is how he can handle the pressure of continuing to find ways to win fights. This weekend, he will have to figure out how to beat Zhamoliddin Rakhmonzhonov, who has even less experience than Nazruloev.
However, Rakhmonzhonov’s lack of experience won’t be what jumps out at you at first off from his resume. Rakhmonzhonov is 4-0 in his career and has finished three of his first four fights in the first round. But Rakhmonzhonov has yet to fight at a top global promotion. As fighters step up in competition, there is a learning curve that can hold them back.
These fighters are hoping to present themselves as more experienced than they are.
Here’s a look at the rest of the fights on the card not mentioned above:
