UFC Owner Singles Out Joe Biden And Donald Trump For Criticism

Ari Emanuel, the owner of the UFC, has slammed US President Joe Biden and Donald Trump following their presidential debates.

Emanuel is a Democrat supporter, often having donated to the Party. He is also Rahm Emanual’s brother, who was the ex-President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff. Biden is running for a second term in office. However, there are worries over his competency and ability to do the job. Trump is seen as one of the favorites for a second term. Dana White is a Trump supporter. Although Emanuel sides with the Democrats, he has not been best pleased with the Party following the recent debates between Biden and Trump.

“Well, I’m..[angry] off at the founding fathers. They had the start date of 35 years old, they just didn’t give us the end date. And, well, everybody died (back then), so they didn’t have to give the end date. (Biden) said he was going to run for one term, and he’s doing it to restore democracy. He then runs for a second term — that’s the first bit of malarkey, as he would say. He and his cohorts have told us that he’s (been) healthy for over a year.

“I had a father who died at 92, but at 81 I took away his car, and it was a very simple test for me. If you were driving from downtown Beverly Hills to Malibu, would you want Biden to do it at night? Would you want Trump to do it at night? If the answer is neither, you cannot have them running a $27 trillion company called the United States,” Emanuel said

UFC’s Future

Elsewhere, Sean Strickland is worried about the future of the sport. He cited the lack of American fighters due to the rise of Degastani fighters. Strickland is a former UFC Middleweight Champion, having won the belt against Israel Adesanya. However, he won the title against Dricus Du Plessis in a controversial split decision loss. While he bounced back to beat Paulo Costa at UFC 301, Strickland is worried about the lack of top American fighters.

Jon Jones is arguably the greatest MMA fighter of all time. But the biggest stars in the sport are mostly non-American. Alex Pereria and Islam Makhachev are just a few who are dominating the sport.
Strickland is one of the more vocal fighters, often dividing fans with his opinions. He has made a name for himself, sparring various people. Strickland received criticism for sparring influencers Sneako and Adin Ross. He also called out Navy SEALs, stating that they could not handle what MMA fighters go through in training. Despite being passionate about the sport, he fears the number of American fighters.

“At one point, there’s gonna be no…[bloody] Americans left in the UFC. We’re all gonna be watching Dagestanis and Russians, Brazilians fighting. No one’s gonna give a [damn]. So, that’s what I think about that, you know. Let’s make the UFC American again,” Strickland stated
