Thurman And Jarvis Troll Each Other During Media Workouts – ‘I’m Gonna Teach You’

Keith Thurman and Brock Jarvis mocked each other during their open media workouts.
The pair will face off on March 12 from Sydney, Australia. Thurman arrives into the fight as the much bigger name. He is a former two-time world champion, having unified the 147-division. His only loss has come against Manny Pacquiao, who went on to win titles in eight weight classes. However, his progress has stalled due to inactivity and injuries. Thurman has only been in the ring once since then.
He faced off against Mario Barrios in 2022, winning a unanimous decision. But Barrios’ career improved, as he went on to become the WBC Welterweight Champion. Meanwhile, Thurman was forced to pull out of his Tim Tyszu fight last year with a bicep injury. He was meant to fight for the WBO Junior Middleweight Belt, which would have given him the chance to become a two-weight champion.
Jarvis knows he has nothing to lose. He has a 22-1 record, with 20 KOs. He has bounced back well since his first loss, which came at the hands of the ex-IBF Junior Welterweight Champion Liam Paro. Jarvis has won his last two fights, knocking out Marlon Paniamogan and Adrian Rodriguez respectively. Thurman and Jarvis attempted to get into each other’s heads as they mocked their rival’s media workouts. Plenty of words were exchanged as things got heated.
Thurman Vs. Jarvis
“Glove this b**** up. You’re going to get laid the f*** out,” Thurman
“What the f*** are those Keith? [Jarvis mocking Thurman’s footwear]. What the f*** are those? What are those? [And] what are those?,” Jarvis
“Shut the f*** up. Shut the f*** up before I knock your arse out. Don’t you worry about me, kid. I’m gunna teach you about the shoes, learn about the footwork. Speak the f*** up. Say it from your chest Brock … c’mon, say it from your chest. “Glove this b*** up now … you’re going to get laid the f*** out,” Thurman
“Right now what I see, he loves the one, two, three combination. “One, two, go down to the body. One, two, try to throw the uppercut. But look how tall he’s standing now. And very stiff. He’s also got one move where he moves his head to the left when trying to get down to the body See that motion right there.
“He only does that motion when he’s trying to get down to the body. I had a hundred amateur fights. I was a seven time national champion in the United States before I even turned pro at 19 years of age. Brock Jarvis, he’s 27 years old. I’ve been boxing 29 years. “I’ve been boxing longer than Brock Jarvis has even been alive,” Thurman stated
