Terri Harper boxes Natalie Zimmermann on May 23 in a WBO Lightweight Title clash, as we take a look at this match-up.

Harper, who is a three-weight world champion, makes the first defense of her title. She secured the title after beating Rhiannon Dixon by a unanimous decision. Harper is not in the best form, having only won one of her last three fights. This included a majority draw against Cecilia Braekhus and a WBO Welterweight Title defeat to Sandy Ryan. Harper knows a win takes her closer to unifying against the likes of the WBC Lightweight Champion Caroline Dubois.

Zimmermann is undefeated with a 13-0 record. This is her first title fight, as she enters into the bout following a successful 2024. Victories over Orsolya Moldovan and Katerina Dvorakova secured her the title shot. However, with just three knockouts to her name, she will face a tough task to take a decision on the cards in Harper’s backyard.
