Should Andrew Tate Return To Fighting?

Andrew Tate has spoken out following his majority decision loss to Chase DeMoor, as we look at whether he should retire.
The 39-year-old Tate started strong, winning the opening two rounds with sharp jabs and body work. However, by the third round, Tate began to fatigue, and DeMoor capitalized, wobbling Tate with a heavy right hand. The punishment intensified in the fifth round when a massive uppercut nearly finished Tate, leaving him with a severe cut over his right eye. While Tate managed to survive to the final bell, the judges’ scorecards (58–56, 58–56, 57–57) reflected DeMoor’s late-round dominance.
Despite the “embarrassing” nature of the loss to a reality TV star, the event appears to have been a massive financial success. Tristan Tate recently claimed that Andrew’s involvement with Misfits Boxing—which included a rumored 10% equity stake in the promotion—netted the brothers upwards of $52 million. While Andrew’s future in the ring remains uncertain, Chase DeMoor wasted no time leveraging the win, immediately calling out Tommy Fury for a 2026 showdown. Tate acknowledged that his absence from fighting and his age played a major role.
Tate Reacts
“I have not yet had time to process why he beat me. I don’t even know… I got tired after the second round, and I don’t know why. The first and second round, he couldn’t touch me and if I didn’t get tired I would have won. “I’m a better boxer, but I did get tired. Maybe it’s ring rust and I’m too old. Maybe he’s too heavy and he kept leaning on me. I don’t know why, but he beat me and let me make something else very clear to you, I have complete respect for Chase DeMoor.
“It would have been very difficult for him mentally just like it was very difficult for me mentally. For him to turn up on the day and got it done? I have great respect for him. I’m not afraid of anyone, as long as I am breathing, f— you. “If I can get up, I’m going to get up. I don’t feel sorry for myself, I don’t sit around hoping that my enemies are going to have mercy on me, I don’t mope around the house like ‘oh please stop’, no, f— you,” Tate said
