Plant Targets A Bout With Charlo

Caleb Plant has targeted a fight with Jermall Charlo next.
The pair sent the internet ablaze when they were involved in a viral incident that resulted in Plant hitting Charlo after the Errol Spence Jr. vs Terence Crawford weigh-in.
This was in response to suggestions by Plant that Charlo had pulled his beard and was warned about not disrespecting him in front of his wife. Following the altercation, Plant and Charlo were separated, but it appears that the tension still remains.
“I got my wife standing right behind me and I’m in a room full of my peers. I mean, what do you do? You’re making it real hard on a guy. You’re really putting his back to the wall, when you start doing all that sh!t, you know, in front of my wife and everybody in the room. I asked you to quite f—— with me. So, yeah, there’s a lot of Texas boys in the room,” Plant
And now Plant is keen to set the record straight when it comes to the ring. However, Charlo has not fought since 2021 when he beat Juan Macias Montiel.
This was on the grounds that the boxer has been struggling with mental health issues. Although he has indicated his desire to return by the end of 2023, there is nothing new that way.
In addition, since Charlo is a champion at 160 since holds the WBC belt, where would the fight be held? After all, Plant fights at 168 so one fighter would have to change their weight class. Regardless of what the case may be, Plant just wanted the fight.
“In a perfect world for me right now, if we can’t get Jermall Charlo right away, we go to a tune-up fight. Let him get a tune-up fight since he had a little break. “After I whoop him (Charlo), get a rematch with Canelo, become undisputed and then run it back with David,” Plant
So will the fight get made? Time will tell. You can stay up-to-date with the latest happenings in the world of boxing and MMA by visiting boxingblitz right here.
