Standing in his way is Vladimir Shishkin, who record is 16-1, with 10 KOs. Shishkin is coming off a decision loss to William Scull. The winner will move one step closer to a potential shot at the IBF super middleweight title, currently held by Canelo Alvarez.

“I’m feeling really good, besides not fighting [regularly]. I have been training and training, but I can’t tell how much I have improved, we will see on fight night. I have been training really hard and sparring really good. Every fight they tell me the same thing, [that this opponent will provide a sterner test] and I reply the same thing every fight.

“I always come to the ring at my best, however they show up is not my problem. I pay attention to only myself every time that I go into the ring. We are going out there to fight, hopefully he is going to come and fight, but if I see that he is irritating [by fighting defensively], then I am going to eat him alive. “It’s going to be a great fight, none of my fights are boring,” Iglesias said
