O’Malley Calls McGregor A Drug Addict - 'He Needs Rehab'

Sean O’Malley has hit out at Conor McGregor, labelling him a drug addict.

The UFC Bantamweight reacted to a recent post where McGregor lashed out at Ryan Garcia’s failed tests for Ostarine. McGregor mentioned O’Malley alongside Garcia, given that the UFC fighter had also tested positive for Ostarine in 2019. The Irishman called the pair ‘juiceheads,’ even suggesting they should fight each other.

McGregor vs. O’Malley

“I am actually disgusted. This ostarine it reminds me of Sean O’Malley — was on that as well. I don’t like this, I’ll bust yous both up. Do yous want to spar? I will set flights right now for you both todo a full-on spar each. Hotel, Black Forge Inn, the lot. Let’s spar O’Malley and Garcia, two little ostarine heads. I’ll ride you both like yous are ostriches,” McGregor stated

O’Malley addressed his positive test by discussing whether Ostarine could have been transferred through sweat and whether that was the reason for the small amounts in his system. Now, O’Malley has fired back at McGregor.

“Conor isn’t in anyone GOAT talk, Entertainment yes but skills, no. Has a really good left hand. [Rubbish] Cardio. Weak Jits. Decently athletic. Mentally weak. Drug addict, needs rehab. 1-4 last 5 fights. Still fan tho. Hope toe heals up,” O’Malley said

McGregor’s Future

McGregor’s fighting career has declined rapidly. He has not returned to the sport since his 2021 defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. This was his third UFC loss out of his previous four fights. He also suffered a career-threatening broken leg in his loss, as questions remain if he will ever return. He pulled out his UFC 303 against Michael Chandler, set for June 29. McGregor suffered a broken toe, delaying his return even further.

He has set his fights on a September return, but current reports, as per Ariel Helwani, indicate that he may fight on December 14. The Irishman has two fights left on his UFC deal and intends to fight in BKFC. He is a part-owner of BKFC, as McGregor outlines his future after the UFC. While McGregor is a two-weight UFC champion, he cannot afford to live off his past accomplishments if he is to be considered one of the best fighters around. McGregor has set his sights on a new challenge as he looks past the UFC.

“I’m not here up here just as a knower, player-manager I’d title myself on this. That’s me. I am coming to the end of my contract. I have two fights left. This is a very, very exciting organization here. How could you not?

“How could you not look to become a two-sport world champion in something as wild as a bareknuckle fighting organization. We’ve got the money, too. We’ve got the dough. This is big payouts here, also – big pay, big shows, big news, and a coveted world title in a wild and dangerous game. For any real fighter out there, that’s all you want to hear. Money, power, respect – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has it all,” McGregor said
