Ngannou Warns Ferreira In Their Final Presser – ‘Get Ready’

Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira had their final pre-fight presser ahead of their heavyweight clash on October 19.
Ngannou makes his PFL debut, which is his first fight in MMA since beating Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in 2022. He left the UFC shortly after on bad terms as contract talks broke down. Dana White stated that he would never work with Ngannou again. Francis then signed a deal with the PFL and boxed twice. He took on Tyson Fury and pushed him to the final bell, dropping him in the third round. He lost a narrow split decision, but the performance earned him a top-ten WBC ranking. Ngannou then secured the Anthony Joshua bout. But the Joshua fight did not go as planned.
He was knocked out in the second round. He then suffered the loss of his 15-month-old son, Kobe, which is a motivating factor to produce his best. Ferreira is the current PFL Heavyweight Champion and beat Ryan Bader on the PFL vs. Bellator champs card. He has come a long way since working as a private security guard at a club in Brazil where he earned $30 a night.
This is by far his biggest opportunity as a victory makes him one of the best heavyweights in the world. Ngannou is eyeing a future fight with Jon Jones. But a Ferreira win will spoil those plans, setting up the narrative for a lucrative rematch at the very least. Both fighters were ready for this clash, as they had plenty to say.

Ngannou Quotes
“I would definitely say Renan is at the top of the line. But my entire life, my biggest opponent has always been me. On Saturday night, I am going to get him, so he should be ready.
“This is an MMA fight, so everything will be on display. We’ve prepared everything, and everything will be on display. On his end, too, I believe he (Ferreira) is preparing some things because he is a jiu-jitsu black belt, and he is not undermining my punching power.”
“Let’s just say I am going to fight strategically and according to how the fight presents itself. In my career, I went for a knockout, but it didn’t work out for me. The times when I did score a knockout, it wasn’t something that I had planned. I know I have 25 minutes, so I am going to lay my game plan down in that 25 minutes and win the fight.”
Ferreira Quotes
“Both Francis and I came from humble beginnings. We had an incredible career to reach where we are right now. It is a great honor to be fighting one of the strongest men in the world.
“Definitely. We are both complete fighters. We can strike and grapple as well. I am ready to fight wherever the fight goes. The fans can expect a great fight.”
“It’s great to see the support that Riyadh and Saudi Arabia have given to provide incredible opportunities and these amazing events. The hospitality is incredible. This is my second time here, and I love it. People treat me really well, and I think it’s just a great opportunity for all of the fighters to be a part of this.”
