Urbina Leads UFC Belgrade Bonus Winners After Upset KO

Gilbert Urbina collected one of four Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC Belgrade on Saturday after dropping hometown favorite Vlasto Cepo with a stunning 61-second knockout in his middleweight debut.

Urbina joined headliner Uros Medic, heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight contender Navajo Stirling, and bantamweight newcomer Nina Milosevic as the six-figure bonus winners from Belgrade Arena, according to MMA Mania. Each fighter took home an extra $100,000 on top of their purse.

Eight Additional Fighters Earn $25K Finish Bonuses

The promotion awarded $25,000 finish bonuses to eight other fighters who delivered stoppages on the Serbia card. Lightweight Mateusz Rebecki dismantled Kyle Prepolec with a first-round TKO, while welterweight Robert Valentin submitted Serbian favorite Dusko Todorovic via guillotine. Women's strawweight Stephanie Luciano opened the prelims with a first-round submission of Marina Spasic.

Heavyweight prospect Jovan Leka turned in what MMA Mania called one of the best liver kick knockouts in recent memory during his Octagon debut. Lightweight Tofiq Musayev knocked out veteran Ludovit Klein, and Michael Oliveira stopped Oban Elliott in the first round of his UFC debut. Noah Gugnon choked out Milos Janicic after attacking his lead leg, and Bogdan Grad finished Dennis Buzukja with an arm-triangle choke.

Medic headlined the event with a 30-second knockout of Daniel Rodriguez that likely puts him in position for a top-five welterweight matchup. Stirling stopped former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz with what the report described as a record-setting first-round knockout.
