UFC White House Card Presser Date Set

All 14 fighters competing on the June 14 White House card will gather for a joint press conference on May 8.

The event precedes the UFC 328 ceremonial weigh-ins and gives every fighter on the card a platform to address their opponent at the most expensive event in UFC history. Headlining the press conference, as they headline the fight card, are Ilia Topuria (17-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and Justin Gaethje (27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC).

The two meet in a lightweight championship unification bout — Topuria defending the undisputed title he captured with a first-round knockout of Charles Oliveira last June, Gaethje bringing the interim belt he won by unanimous decision over Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324 in January.

In the co-main event, Alex Pereira (13-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) makes his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane (13-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) for the interim title. It is a significant step up in weight for the former middleweight and light heavyweight champion, who has finished fighters at two divisions already and now looks to become the first man to claim world titles at three UFC weight classes. Gane, meanwhile, is fighting for the first time since the no contest with Tom Aspinall at UFC 321 last October — a fight that ended controversially and left the division with unresolved business.
