UFC Vegas 120 adds Darren Elkins retirement bout, four more fights
UFC Vegas 120 has added five new bouts to its Aug. 8 card, including a retirement fight for 42-year-old featherweight Darren Elkins.
Elkins will face Yadier del Valle in what marks the veteran's 31st octagon appearance, according to MMA Fighting. The bout was among several matchups the promotion announced Thursday for the event at Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

On Instagram, Elkins described the del Valle clash as "My last dance!" The featherweight has not competed since a first-round TKO loss to Julian Erosa in April 2025, which halted a two-fight winning stretch. Del Valle carries a 10-1 record and aims to bounce back from his first professional defeat, a February loss to Jordan Leavitt.
The card also features strawweight contenders Amanda Lemos and Alexia Thainara, plus Diego Ferreira welcoming Billy Quarantillo to lightweight. Unbeaten Dana White's Contender Series product Ty Miller takes on Billy Ray Goff in a welterweight contest.
Mateusz Gamrot and Quillan Salkilld headline in a top-10 lightweight clash.
