UFC Releases Renderings Of White House Octagon Setup
The UFC has given the public its first detailed look at the scale of what is being planned around UFC Freedom 250, releasing visual renderings of both the South Lawn fight setup and the Freedom 250 Fan Fest that will run across the surrounding area on June 13 and 14.
One rendering shows the Octagon positioned on the South Lawn of the White House, with a projected crowd of 5,000 spectators arranged around it — a compact and intimate setting by UFC standards, but one that carries an obvious symbolic weight that no arena can replicate. A separate rendering depicts the Freedom 250 Fan Fest at The Ellipse, featuring a main stage.
The 5,000-capacity figure for the South Lawn is notably smaller than a typical UFC pay-per-view crowd, which regularly fills arenas of 15,000 to 20,000. The Fan Fest at The Ellipse expands the event's footprint significantly, giving the wider public a way to engage with the occasion across both days without requiring access to the main card.
The main event remains Ilia Topuria's lightweight title defence against Justin Gaethje, with Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title in the co-main.
