UFC 329 pulls 15.9 million viewers on Paramount+

UFC 329 pulled in 15.9 million total viewers across the U.S. and Latin America, Paramount+ announced this week. The Holloway-McGregor rematch attracted 14.3 million viewers stateside and 1.6 million across Latin American markets, per Sherdog.

The tally fell short of the 17 million who tuned in for the UFC White House event last month, which averaged 8.2 million viewers throughout the broadcast. UFC 329 averaged 6.5 million viewers by comparison.

UFC 329 sets new peak viewership record

The card did set one benchmark. Paramount+ reported that 8.3 million people watched simultaneously at its peak, breaking the previous UFC high of 7.9 million during Justin Gaethje's win over Ilia Topuria. That figure still trails Super Bowl LVIII, which hit 11.5 million concurrent viewers on the platform in February 2024.

Max Holloway stopped Conor McGregor after 69 seconds in the main event when McGregor threw an opening flying kick and appeared to injure his right knee. The Irishman could not continue, giving Holloway the injury TKO. Holloway called for a trilogy fight afterward, saying he wanted to make more money.

The event also set a gate record at T-Mobile Arena despite no new seats being added to the venue. The rematch airs next on UFC Fight Pass as an archive replay starting Friday.
