Tyson Fury: I'll knock out Anthony Joshua, he doesn't have a chin

Tyson Fury remains convinced Anthony Joshua will crumble when they finally meet in the ring, telling fans on his YouTube channel that Joshua lacks the chin to survive their scheduled heavyweight clash.

The criticism follows Joshua's refusal to engage in a face-off after Fury stopped Arslanbek Makhmudov last month at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Fury called Joshua into the ring for a confrontation in front of 60,000 fans and a global Netflix audience, but Joshua stayed ringside and deflected the challenge. "Joshua bottled it at its biggest moment with the world watching," Fury said on FurociTV, according to The Ring. "He choked. He didn't say three words."

Fury suggested Joshua's team engineered a delay after seeing how sharply Fury dispatched Makhmudov. "I do believe if I fought like a nugget and got knocked all over the place, they'd have been jumping up and down for a fight," Fury said. "But because I just took out a world-ranked contender, they weren't so keen. All of a sudden, they need another fight now in between, which wasn't the plan before that."

Joshua faces Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Saudi Arabia, seven months after surviving a car accident in Nigeria that killed two of his friends. Fury has teased his own August tune-up before the all-British showdown, reportedly set for late 2026. "I'll knock him out, for sure," Fury said. "He doesn't have a chin and I'll bang him on it because I'm quicker than him and I'm a better boxer."

Both former two-time heavyweight champions must win their upcoming bouts for the fight to proceed as planned in Q4.
