Arman Tsarukyan submitted Indian fitness influencer Ankit Baiyanpuria in three minutes at a Hype Armenia grappling event in India on Saturday, bouncing back from his first combat sports loss in four years.

Tsarukyan landed a suplex before locking in an armbar to finish Baiyanpuria in front of his home crowd, MMA Mania reports. The UFC lightweight contender dominated the matchup against the fitness instructor, who had no grappling pedigree heading into the bout.

Tsarukyan Returns To Octagon In September

The win comes less than a month after Tsarukyan dropped a decision to Colby Covington at Real American Freestyle 11, snapping a streak of success on the wrestling circuit. Tsarukyan had racked up multiple wins under the RAF banner before the loss.

Tsarukyan has fought once for UFC in the past two years but remains a contender at lightweight. The 29-year-old is reportedly set to meet Charles Oliveira in a rematch atop UFC 331 in September, though the event is not expected to feature championship stakes.
