Trump eyes permanent UFC Claw structure at White House
President Donald Trump has floated the idea of keeping the massive UFC Claw structure on the White House lawn as a permanent fixture.
The steel arch, erected on Constitution Avenue for the UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest in Washington, D.C., caught Trump's attention enough to prompt a comparison to Paris's most famous landmark. "The Eiffel Tower was supposed to be taken down immediately, and then they said we sort of like it, let's leave it up longer," Trump said, according to video reported by Sherdog. "We're building something in front of the White House."

The structure towers over Constitution Avenue and is visible from blocks away, with observers spotting building cranes from as far as 5th and Pennsylvania. The Claw serves as the centerpiece of the fan festival tied to UFC's upcoming White House event, presented by Crypto.com and Ram Trucks.
Trump's suggestion that the installation could outlast its intended run mirrors the trajectory of the Eiffel Tower, built as a temporary exhibit for the 1889 Paris Exposition before city officials decided to keep it standing. No timeline has been announced for removing the UFC structure.
