Trump Denies Hating Joe Rogan – ‘I Don’t Know Him'
Donald Trump has changed his tune on Joe Rogan, as fans wonder if he will appear on his ‘Joe Rogan’ podcast.
Trump is a massive UFC fight fan, having attended numerous cards. He last appeared at UFC 302 when Islam Makhachev submitted Dustin Poirier to retain his UFC Lightweight Title. After the win, Trump was spotted speaking to Khabib Nurmagomedov. The former President also labelled Poirier a warrior. That has created a close relationship between Trump and Dana White.
White endorsed Trump at this year’s RNC following the assassination attempt on him. While there is a close relationship with White, that has not been the case with Rogan. Trump questioned Rogan’s support for Robert Kennedy Jr., who was running as an independent candidate for president. He reacted by suggesting that Rogan may get booed at UFC events for his views.
Trump On Rogan
"He’s the only one who makes sense to me. He doesn’t attack people. He attacks actions and ideas but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent.
"This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence," Rogan wrote on X. "I think we could use more of that in this world," Rogan

Trump has now had a change of heart, increasing speculation that he could appear on Rogan’s podcast.
"Well, I don’t think there was any tension. I’ve always liked him, but I don’t know him. I’ve only seen him when I walk into the arena with Dana [White] and I shake his hand, I see him there. I think he’s good at what he does, but I don’t know about doing his podcast.
"I guess I’d do it, but I haven’t been asked, and I’m not asking them. “I’m not asking anybody. It’s not really a negotiation, and he’s sort of a liberal guy I guess, from what I understand. But he likes Kennedy, this was before he came in with us, and he’s going to be great…but I like that he likes Kennedy, he’s a different kind of a guy, but he’s got some great things going," Trump said
Rogan’s Podcast
A Trump appearance on the podcast would no doubt boost his popularity for the presidency. It provides Trump with a massive platform on what is considered alternative media. Rogan’s prior podcasts with well-known figures such as Elon Musk have boosted the show’s popularity, incentivising Rogan to do it.
However, since Trump is a divisive character, there is nothing to indicate that Rogan will host the former president. However, they have kept things cordial when they have met at UFC events. The following clip shows Trump shaking Rogan’s hand as he approaches him during the UFC card. While Dana White may have close ties to Trump, Rogan may need more convincing before the ex-President winds up on his show.
