Talbott Targeted To Face Figueiredo At UFC 332

Payton Talbott is targeted to face former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on Oct. 3, MMA Fighting confirmed following a report from Leo Guimaraes. Both sides have agreed but contracts remain unsigned.

Figueiredo enters the matchup on a two-fight skid after losses to Umar Nurmagomedov and Song Yadong. The Brazilian has dropped four of his past five at bantamweight, with the lone win a split decision against Montel Jackson. Earlier defeats in the stretch came against Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen.

Talbott Riding Win Streak Into Figueiredo Clash

Talbott has won his last three, topping Felipe Lima and former two-division champion Henry Cejudo by decision in 2025. Those wins came after the first loss of his career to Raoni Barcelos earlier that year. The former A1 Combat champion has gone 5-1 in the UFC since signing with the promotion.

UFC 332 takes place at the Delta Center. The promotion has not yet announced a main event for the card.
