Sean Strickland walks out of Adin Ross MMA event in disgust
Sean Strickland walked out of an MMA event hosted by streamer Adin Ross and immediately took to social media to express his regret for attending.
The former UFC middleweight champion left the show early and posted that he felt "sick to my stomach" after being there, according to Sherdog. "I hate myself and I feel like less of a man after being here," Strickland wrote. "Oh God why did I agree to this."
Strickland's criticism of streamer culture
Strickland expanded his critique beyond the event itself, targeting the broader streamer community. "You take these streamers, they have this massive following and you just know that they're the next generations of Americans," he said in a video clip. "It's so f*cking sad to think that the streamer community is gonna inherit America. It's so bad."
The outspoken fighter has built a reputation for unfiltered commentary on social media and in interviews. His appearance at Ross' event marked a rare crossover between traditional MMA and influencer-driven combat sports programming.
Strickland has not publicly responded to any reaction from Ross or event organizers. No details on his next UFC booking have been announced.
