Sean O'Malley predicts Conor McGregor 12-second KO at UFC 329
Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley thinks Conor McGregor will need less than half a minute to close the show at UFC 329.
O'Malley told his podcast audience he expects the Irish star to land a knockout in roughly 12 seconds when he headlines the event, per Sherdog. The prediction suggests O'Malley sees McGregor's opponent as badly outmatched from the opening bell.
Why O'Malley sees a quick finish for McGregor's return
McGregor has not competed since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021. The layoff represents the longest of his career, but O'Malley apparently believes ring rust will not factor into the result. A sub-15-second stoppage would rank among the fastest finishes in UFC history.
O'Malley himself recently lost the 135-pound title to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306. He has not announced his next bout. UFC 329 does not yet have a confirmed date or opponent for McGregor's return.
