Holly Holm has called for a conclusive result when she meets Stephanie Han for a second time. Their first encounter ended by technical decision, a finish neither fighter welcomed.

“Nobody wants the fight to end like that. I don't”

What Holly Holm said

Holm faces Han in a 135 lb bout after their initial meeting was cut short. The technical decision left the result in the hands of the scorecards before a full contest could play out. Holm, a former UFC bantamweight champion now competing in boxing, has made clear she wants the rematch to reach a natural conclusion.

What it moves

Speaking to ESPN, Holm said the manner of the finish left both competitors unsatisfied. "Nobody wants the fight to end like that. I don't," she said. The rematch gives both women a chance to settle the contest without the judges stepping in early, though Holm will need to avoid the circumstances that forced the technical decision in the first place.
