PFL Washington DC: Start time, card, how to watch on ESPN

The Professional Fighters League returns to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, July 25 with a scrambled welterweight title fight after the original headliner withdrew one day before weigh-ins.

Shamil Musaev, who was set to challenge unbeaten tournament winner Thad Jean for the 170-pound strap, pulled out due to weight-cut complications, Sherdog reports. Ernesto Rodriguez, who had been booked for a preliminary bout against Aaron McKenzie, accepted the title shot on short notice and now faces Jean in the main event.

How to watch PFL Washington DC on ESPN

Prelims stream live on the ESPN app beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The main card airs on linear ESPN at 10 p.m. ET. Jean, 11-0, won the PFL welterweight tournament last year. Rodriguez, 11-1, is coming off a decision over Masayuki Kikuiri in his promotional debut this past March.

The full card as of Thursday, July 23 includes Tyson Pedro against Rafael Xavier, Sullivan Cauley versus Rasul Magomedov, Eliezer Kubanza meeting Chris Mixan, Michael Cyr opposite Bryce Meredith, Brandon Davis taking on Nkosi Ndebele, Coby Bradford facing Chad Yard, and Noah Hermosillo matched with Jacob Pais. McKenzie is now without an opponent after Rodriguez moved up the card.

Weigh-ins are scheduled for Friday morning in the nation's capital.
