PBC Signs With DAZN
Premier Boxing Champions and TGB Promotions have signed a deal with DAZN.
Errol Spence Jr. against Tim Tszyu on July 25 is the first event under the new arrangement, followed by Rolando Romero versus Teofimo Lopez on August 22.
DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev framed the deal in expansive terms: "PBC's agreement with DAZN is a landmark moment for boxing, particularly in the U.S., where the sport has such a passionate and deeply engaged fanbase.
This partnership brings one of America's most influential boxing brands onto DAZN and strengthens our position as the premier destination for the biggest fighters, promoters and events in the sport. As the global home of boxing, DAZN is committed to expanding access, elevating the fan experience and delivering the fights that matter most."
DAZN already carries Matchroom Boxing's output, giving it Eddie Hearn's roster that includes Anthony Joshua, Dmitry Bivol, and Callum Smith. The addition of PBC's talent effectively puts two of boxing's most significant promotional operations on the same platform.
Whether the partnership produces the fights fans actually want to see, cross-promotional matchups between Matchroom and PBC talent — depends on factors beyond the broadcast agreement. Spence versus Tszyu on July 25 is where it starts.
