Paul Blasts White Over Zuffa Boxing Sanctioning Body Stance

Jake Paul has fired back at Dana White over the UFC president's evolving stance on boxing's major sanctioning bodies.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer took to social media after White suggested Zuffa Boxing fighters could compete for one of the four major titles, a position Paul characterized as contradictory. According to BJ Penn's coverage of the post, Paul wrote that White and company had previously criticized the sanctioning organizations and called for their elimination.

Paul Calls For Alignment Between Promoters And Sanctioning Bodies

"Truth is we need to further align promoters and the sanctioning bodies to create the biggest opportunities for boxers," Paul posted, per the report. "That should be the goal. More transparency, more collaboration and more big fights."

The exchange marks the latest chapter in an ongoing public rivalry between Paul and White that dates back several years to when Paul first entered combat sports. Paul recently aligned himself with Matchroom's Eddie Hearn, a move that could intensify the tension with the UFC boss.

White has occasionally responded to Paul's provocations, though the boxer typically initiates the exchanges. Paul's next boxing match has not been announced.
