Paddy Pimblett, Claressa Shields star in BBC Born to Brawl
BBC Sport has rolled out every episode of Born to Brawl, its documentary series profiling boxers and MMA fighters at pivotal career moments, from UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett to undisputed middleweight champion Claressa Shields.
The series gives viewers an inside look at what it takes to compete at the highest level, with each fighter narrating their own journey. Pimblett's episode covers his UFC debut against Luigi Vendramini in Las Vegas after he twice declined earlier offers from the promotion. Shields opens up about the difficulties she faced on her path to becoming a multi-division world titlist.
Eubank Jr, Jonas and Aspinall among featured fighters
Chris Eubank Jr discusses the pressures of boxing royalty and following his father's legacy as a middleweight contender. Natasha Jonas details her comeback story, winning three world titles at 37 after years of setbacks. UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall describes going from twenty quid in his bank account to headlining pay-per-view cards.
The series also spotlights Savannah Marshall's preparation for her historic clash with Shields, Shannon Courtenay's journey from addiction to a WBA bantamweight belt, and Muhammad Mokaev's path from refugee to UFC prospect. Olympic bronze medalist Cindy Ngamba takes cameras into her life in Bolton, while Josh Warrington lets BBC Sport follow his Leeds training camp ahead of what he called a make-or-break fight with Leigh Wood.
Dennis McCann, the young traveller boxer Tyson Fury has tipped for stardom, appears alongside Ricky Gorman, a relative of Fury who speaks about his bareknuckle legend uncle Bartley Gorman. Aadam and Sami Hamed, sons of former featherweight king Naseem, discuss turning pro with no amateur background.
