Nassourdine Imavov posts therapy skit after Strickland loss
Nassourdine Imavov is processing his December loss to Sean Strickland through comedy.
The UFC middleweight posted a social media skit showing himself in a mock therapy session where he discusses recurring nightmares about the former champion. In the clip, reported by Sherdog, a therapist asks, "It's still him? Another bad dream recently?" Imavov responds, "I'm fine," before walking out of the room.
Strickland defeated Imavov at UFC 310
Strickland beat Imavov by split decision at UFC 310 in Las Vegas last month, snapping the Frenchman's four-fight winning streak. The result kept Strickland in title contention at 185 pounds while dropping Imavov to 15-5 overall.
Imavov had been considered a rising contender before the Strickland bout. He now sits outside the top five at middleweight with no next opponent announced.
