Medic Earns $100K After 30-Second UFC Belgrade KO
Uros Medic took home a $100,000 performance bonus after demolishing Daniel Rodriguez in 30 seconds at UFC Belgrade on Saturday.
The UFC handed out four Performance of the Night awards following a historic card that produced 12 finishes, per Sherdog. With nearly every bout ending inside the distance, the promotion skipped the typical Fight of the Night distinction.
Stirling, Milosevic Also Collect Bonuses
Navajo Stirling earned his bonus by stopping former heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz in under three minutes in the co-main event. The City Kickboxing product improved to 11-0 with the win, adding Blachowicz to a resume that includes Ion Cutelaba, Bruno Lopes and Rodolfo Bellato.
Nina Nikolija Milosevic retired Hailey Cowan with body punches in front of the Belgrade crowd to secure her bonus. Gilbert Urbina rounded out the $100,000 recipients by finishing Vlastislav Cepo with a barrage of elbows and punches in 61 seconds.
All other fighters who scored finishes on the card received $25,000, according to the report. Medic, now 33, completely outmatched Rodriguez in the welterweight main event with his striking power.
