McGregor UFC Poster Revealed
The UFC 329 poster is out — and for only the second time in five years, Conor McGregor's face is on it.
The image features McGregor and Max Holloway ahead of their welterweight headliner on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas during International Fight Week.
Conor was on a poster for the UFC 303 billing for a planned June 2024 comeback against Michael Chandler — a fight that collapsed when McGregor withdrew citing a broken pinky toe. Prior to that, the most recent poster he had featured on dated back to UFC 264 in July 2021 when he fought Dustin Poirier in the first round.
Holloway enters as a heavy favourite at -450 against McGregor's +330, a line that reflects both his recent activity level and the uncertainty surrounding what version of McGregor turns up after five years away from competition.
The welterweight setting gives McGregor a size advantage and removes the weight cut complications that defined much of his career at 145 and 155. Holloway has dismissed the catchweight concession as irrelevant, and his record of performing at the highest level regardless of circumstance supports that confidence.
Placing McGregor's return in that slot rather than on a standalone card is a decision that reflects both the commercial weight the fight carries and the UFC's desire to make the occasion as large as possible.
