McGregor To Bring His Children To UFC 329 Return
Conor McGregor is bringing his children to Las Vegas on July 11 — and he wants them to see exactly what he has built.
The UFC 329 headliner confirmed that his kids will be ringside for his return against Max Holloway.
"I've been debating it. It is a dangerous game, but I want to show them what discipline and what dedication and commitment to your craft can achieve. They're gonna see their father walk out and see the adoration of 20 or 30,000 fans and a great performance. I want to show them this is what hard work gets you," McGregor
The decision adds a personal dimension to a return that has been five years in the making. McGregor has not fought since his leg break against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. His children have grown up during that absence. Bringing them to T-Mobile Arena to watch him walk out for the first time is a statement about what this fight means to him beyond the sport.
The contractual picture around his future also came into focus. McGregor confirmed he has two fights remaining on his current UFC deal — Holloway on July 11 and a second date already locked in for April 2027. When that contract expires, free agency is a possibility he has not ruled out, though he left the door open for the UFC to make an offer compelling enough to keep him. The leverage he carries into those eventual negotiations depends almost entirely on what he produces over the next two fights.
Holloway arrives as the heavy favourite at -450, a line that reflects his activity level and recent form against McGregor's prolonged absence. The welterweight setting gives McGregor a size advantage that partially offsets the ring rust question, and he has spent the past several months in what sources describe as a serious and committed camp. July 11 is where he has to prove it.
