Makhachev Denies Manager Running Social Media

Islam Makhachev dismissed suggestions that his manager Ali Abdelaziz controls his social media accounts.

The UFC lightweight champion wrote on X that Abdelaziz lacks access to his password, according to Sherdog. He posted the message alongside a photo of his manager. "Ali don't have my password don't worry," Makhachev wrote.

Abdelaziz Manages Multiple Dagestani Fighters

Abdelaziz represents several Caucasus-region fighters whose English isn't fluent. He's faced recurring accusations of ghostwriting when his clients post in English, though Makhachev's language skills appear strong enough to handle his own accounts. The Dagestani has built a following with dry humor and quick-witted jabs at rivals.

Makhachev defends his welterweight strap against Ian Garry at UFC 330 on Aug. 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The bout marks his first title defense at 170 pounds.
