Magomed Zaynukov tells Ilia Topuria he has no chance in Makhachkala

Magomed Zaynukov believes Ilia Topuria would not survive a real confrontation with fighters from Makhachkala.

Zaynukov, known as "John Pork" in America and "Chanko" elsewhere, shut down Damian Rzepecki with kicks and elbows across three rounds at UFC Abu Dhabi on Saturday, earning a unanimous 30-27 decision in his official promotional debut. The lightweight from Khabib Nurmagomedov's camp used the postfight press conference to respond to a question about how a hypothetical meeting with Topuria would play out, per MMA Mania.

Zaynukov says Topuria unprepared for Makhachkala reality

"They just don't know the type of life that we have in Makhachkala," Zaynukov said. "They haven't seen life the way the way we live it over there. I think there's no chance, they have no chance to come out of that room because what I saw and the things that I've seen, there's no question."

The comment came after Rzepecki framed the bout as a team contest, identifying himself with Topuria's squad. Zaynukov said he had to punish that approach because his team represents Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's school. He added that fighters from his region do not perform for cameras or bring disputes public.

Zaynukov revealed that both Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev called immediately after the win. Khabib praised the performance but criticized a missed takedown. Makhachev congratulated him and said the coaches expected an exciting fight. Zaynukov is expected to campaign for another booking soon, though a return to New York appears unlikely.
