Storley Cleared After Sexual Assault Arrest

Former PFL welterweight Logan Storley is no longer facing sexual assault charges stemming from his May arrest in Key West, Florida.

Monroe County court records show prosecutors closed the case and canceled the next hearing, which had been scheduled for early August, MMA Fighting reports. Storley's manager and attorney David Martin confirmed the resolution came through a pretrial diversion program.

What The Pretrial Diversion Means For Storley

"We are pleased that the criminal case involving Logan Storley has been resolved through a pretrial diversion program, after which the State has agreed to dismiss the charges," Martin said in a statement to MMA Fighting. "The presumption of innocence remains a cornerstone of our criminal justice system, and every person deserves fairness, due process, and the opportunity to have their case decided based on the facts, not public opinion."

Storley was arrested in May after police received a report alleging he sexually battered a woman in an alley outside a Key West nightclub. He posted $50,000 bond and was released. No additional details about the diversion agreement or case resolution were made public.

A former University of Minnesota wrestler, Storley built his MMA career in Bellator before moving to the PFL. His last bout came in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in May, where he secured a victory that ended up being his final fight with the promotion.
