Irish welterweight Lee Reeves required hospital treatment after being stopped in the 10th round by Gary Cully in Dublin on Saturday night.

Reeves was knocked out late in the scheduled contest and transported to a medical facility for evaluation, ESPN reports. The bout marked a difficult ending to what had been a competitive affair between the two Irish fighters.

Reeves Knocked Out In Final Scheduled Round

The stoppage came in the 10th and final frame of the welterweight matchup, with Cully landing the decisive blow that sent Reeves to the canvas. Medical personnel attended to Reeves immediately before he was taken for further assessment.
