In the latest boxing news, The KSI and Tommy Fury card left a lot of controversial talking points in the aftermath of the results.

In the headline event, Fury was given a controversial majority-decision win over KSI in a fight where there was very little to choose between the two fighters.

However, the main talking point emerged in round two where Fury was docked a point for rabbit punching. That would ultimately raise mass controversy, given the closeness on the cards: 57-56, 57-56 and 57-57.

This was particularly since neither fighter landed much of note, with the majority of the bout being disrupted by clinching. However, KSI’s unorthodox style of moving in range with his jab and then ducking out was never worked out by Fury.

And that frustration was shown in the post-fight comments. Meanwhile, Fury was clear that he was not 100 percent due to some issues in his training camp.

Co-Main Event

Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Logan Paul was given a win over Dillon Danis after the latter was disqualified for trying to implement MMA rules.

Prior to the controversy, it was one-way traffic for Logan even if Danis had not been knocked down. However, the latter’s failure to register anything of note in the fight was clear.

Danis landed just 16 punches in the whole bout before the controversy ensued towards the end of the fight. The MMA fighter restored to a takedown, which was then followed up by a guillotine choke attempt which failed.

Thereafter, the fight was called off as security intervened as things got ugly in the ring.
