King Green Schools Boxer At Broner's Gym

UFC lightweight King Green sparked controversy after dominating a professional boxer during a sparring session at Adrien Broner's Las Vegas warehouse gym.

Green, fresh off his comeback win over Terrance McKinney at UFC 329, appeared at the former four-division boxing champ's facility — where Broner is streaming a 45-day training camp — and proceeded to school Antonio "Bang" Williams, a 29-year-old boxer with a 19-1 record, per MMA Mania. Green refused to wear sparring headgear, then mocked Williams throughout the rounds.

Green's Gym Reputation And Broner Confrontation

The 39-year-old taunted Williams during the session, according to footage captured on Kick streamer Deen The Great's channel. "Shut up, shut up. Airball! You're sorry at your own shit," Green said while slipping punches. The disrespect drew a rebuke from Broner afterward, with the boxer treating Green like a kid in his gym. Green fired back, telling Broner he deserved respect as a 40-year-old man with two decades of fight experience.

Green explained his approach happens at every gym he visits. "They tell me to put the headgear on, put the gloves on, they laugh at me, heckle me, I say 'This dude's gonna get knocked out.' And I make 'em all shut the fuck up," he said. Green claimed he showed up after Broner and Deen had talked about beating him in the ring.

The veteran lightweight is riding a four-fight winning streak in the UFC. His next opponent has not been announced.
