Jared Gordon Slams Online Troll With Head Kick

UFC lightweight Jared Gordon landed a brutal head kick on an online troll during a live-streamed sparring session Wednesday.

Gordon, who announced the matchup on social media after the critic invaded his comment section, broadcast the encounter on Kick. "I'm sparring some kid tomorrow who called me out on IG, streaming it live on KICK if you wanna join in," he posted, per BJPenn.com.

The footage shows Gordon connecting with a clean head kick that rocked his opponent during the gym session. The troll reportedly acknowledged the damage after the spar and gave Gordon credit for accepting the challenge.

Gordon joins a growing list of UFC fighters — including Sean Strickland and Kevin Holland — who have responded to social media critics by inviting them to train at their home gyms. Strickland, the middleweight champion, spars almost daily during fight camps and has hosted several similar challenges.

The 37-year-old Gordon has not fought since a submission loss to Jim Miller at UFC 328 earlier this year. His most recent victory came against Thiago Moises by first-round knockout in May 2025. Gordon has faced elite lightweight competition throughout his career, including Charles Oliveira and Paddy Pimblett.

A potential return to the Octagon later this year against another lightweight veteran remains possible for Gordon, who is currently spending time teaching lessons in the gym rather than the cage.
