Has McGregor Been Kicked Off The UFC Roster?

Reports about Conor McGregor being removed from the active UFC roster have been shut down by Dana White and McGregor’s team.

The rumors started when social media accounts that track the UFC’s roster posted that McGregor’s name had been removed. This sparked speculation over claims he may have failed a drug test, or a contract dispute over the UFC’s new broadcasting deal.

However, White quickly responded, calling the reports "total bull****." Ariel Helwani reported that McGregor and his team confirmed to him that they have not parted ways with the UFC.

McGregor’s last UFC fight was a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021, while he pulled out of his comeback fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 due to a toe injury. McGregor was also found liable in a civil sexual assault lawsuit filed by Nikita Hand, losing his appeal in the process.

To every survivor out there, I know how hard it is, but please, don’t be silenced. "You deserve to be heard, you also deserve justice. Today, I can finally move on and try to heal," Hand said

White On McGregor

McGregor has targeted a return at a proposed White House event next year, as White still has confidence in a McGregor return.

"I trust Conor [McGregor]. McGregor has never –unless he seriously injured–this guy has always delivered. Jon [Jones], I’m a little more skeptical about," White said

"If you see, he’s been posting videos of himself training, he’s back in the [drug testing] pool now. He wants the White House fight. “Listen if he starts getting in shape and training and stays the course, that’s the fight he wants. He keeps telling me he wants that fight. We’ll see how it plays out over the next several months," White stated
