Fans Unimpressed With McGregor's Training Footage – ‘He's Washed'
Fans have reacted to Conor McGregor’s latest training footage, as questions still remain about his future with the UFC.
McGregor’s UFC plans are unclear, having not had a fight since 2021. He suffered a loss to Dustin Poirier, as he picked up a broken leg at UFC 264. His comeback plans were disrupted with a toe injury, which prevented him from facing Michael Chandler at UFC 303. Conor has not made an official retirement announcement from the UFC, while he still has two fights left on his UFC deal. Conor has been linked with fights in BKFC, where he is the current part-owner, and boxing fights, having previously faced Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
Conor has been keeping busy in the gym, suggesting he will fight again. The following clip shows McGregor hitting a bag, with a combination of punches and kicks. However, McGregor has never been the same since he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Conor has three defeats from his previous four fights, as he was submitted in the fourth round.

Conor lost the biggest fight of his career, as he was no longer the fighter who had won belts in two weight classes. McGregor’s personal life has also been in the spotlight. He was found liable in a civil sexual lawsuit after Nikita Hand accused him, winning the case, as Conor was ordered to pay her legal fees and damages. Khabib’s former trainer, Javier Mendez, no longer sees him as an elite fighter.
"Conor [McGregor]… he was an ace striker. He hasn’t been the same after that loss [to] Khabib. He went down, and obviously, I don’t really like him because [he] use dirty tactics. You want to talk about a fighter? Go ahead, free game. But you talked about religion, you talked about family, you talked about country. I don’t respect fighters do that. I love a fighter that sticks to the fighter," Mendez said
