Fans Slam Fundora Vs. Thurman PPV Price – ‘A Scam'

Fans have hit out at the $74.99 PPV price for Sebastian Fundora vs. Keith Thurman’s October 25 fight.

Fundora, the WBC junior middleweight champion, will put his belt on the line following an impressive KO win over Tim Tszyu in July. The victory removed any doubt from their first fight after Tszyu’s cut over his hairline, which continued to bleed, may have had an outcome on his loss. Prior to Fundora facing Tszyu in that first fight, Thurman was on course to face Tim. However, Keith pulled out with a bicep injury. Thurman has only boxed once in three years, beating Brock Jarvis in March.

In chief support, O’Shaquie Foster puts his WBC junior lightweight title on the line against the WBC featherweight champion Stephen Fulton. The duo were linked with a fight in August on a Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach rematch card. The rematch never happened, as they will now do battle. Foster reclaimed his WBC belt by beating Robson Conceição in November 2024, while Fulton secured the WBC featherweight belt in February by defeating Brandon Figueroa. Despite having title fights, fans were unhappy with the price. This is especially given Riyadh Season has been offering fans a variety of events at much lower prices.

Current Card

Main Event (WBC Super Welterweight Title): Sebastian Fundora (c) vs. Keith Thurman

Co-Main Event (WBC Super Featherweight Title): O’Shaquie Foster (c) vs. Stephen Fulton Jr.

Interim WBC Middleweight Title: Jesus Ramos Jr. vs. Shane Mosley Jr.

Super Welterweight Bout: Isaac Lucero vs. Roberto Valenzuela Jr.
