Richardson Hitchins, the IBF Junior Welterweight Champion, will box George Kambosos Jr. on June 14, as fans gave their predictions.

Hitchins enters into the fight with a win against Liam Paro, having beaten him via a unanimous decision to secure the title. The win extended Hitchins’ undefeated record to 19-0, with seven knockouts to his name. Hitchins did call out Teofimo Lopez for a fight, only for Teo to face Arnold Barboza Jr.

Meanwhile, Kambosos recently moved up to 140, beating Jake Wyllie in his last fight at the weight class. A win over Hitchins makes him a two-weight world champion, having beaten Teofimo Lopez at 135 pounds to become the unified lightweight champion. Here is how boxing fans saw the fight playing out.

"George Kambosos has been a bum before that. He’s been a bum. He beat Teofimo Lopez. Teofimo Lopez is a talented fighter like I said before. He’s a talented fighter, but IQ-wise…Teofimo showed he a talented fighter with boxing experience but as far as IQ, as far as the s**t he needs to complete at a high level of boxing, he don’t have that. He has shown that since the amateur days," Hitchins said

"I believe I’ll knock him down. I believe I’ll break him up and really beat this guy. I’ve never lost in America. This is exciting, it brings a big smile, it brings a lot of inspiration and motivation and a lot of confidence going to a place I’m so familiar with and a place I really have a bigger fan base than the supposed hometown champion has. This guy really isn’t not liked in his own home, which is quite sad because I felt the love of my own country when I was champion but unfortunately he hasn’t felt it," Kambosos said
