Reinier de Ridder vs. Roman Dolidze set for UFC Sacramento
Reinier de Ridder and Roman Dolidze are headed for a heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight clash at UFC Sacramento on August 22.
MMA Mania reported Friday that the promotion is finalizing the matchup for the Paramount Plus card at Golden 1 Center in California. Leo Guimaraes broke the news earlier in the day.
De Ridder and Dolidze both chase bounce-back wins
De Ridder enters on a two-fight slide after dropping a decision to Caio Borralho at UFC 326 in March. The former ONE Championship titleholder started his UFC run 4-0 before the recent losses.
Dolidze carries the same momentum problem. The Georgian fell to Anthony Hernandez at UFC Vegas 109 and Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC London, snapping what had been a strong middleweight campaign. Both fighters sit 15-5 and 21-4 respectively.
The Sacramento card is the latest stop on the UFC's summer schedule as the promotion returns to California's capital for the first time since 2023.
