Dana White Names His Favorite Black Athletes – ‘Michael Jordan And Mike Tyson'

Dana White revealed his love of black athletes, namely Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson.

Jordan and Tyson are some of the greatest athletes in their field. Jordan played at the top level of the NBA from 1984-2003, winning six NBA championships while playing for the Chicago Bulls. Tyson was one of the most feared heavyweights of all time.

He retired in 2005 with a record of 50-6-0. He became the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion in 1987 when he beat Tony Tucker. Tyson has since then boxed in an exhibition. He secured a draw with Roy Jones Jr. in their 2020 exhibition. He will also face Jake Paul on July 20 in his first pro fight since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005. Given their huge achievements, White had nothing but praise for them.

From those athletes to another, Jon Jones hit out at a content creator, who claimed he is homosexual. The UFC Heavyweight Champion is back in training following his injury, which prevented his title defense at UFC 295 against Stipe Miocic. As he prepares to face arguably the greatest heavyweight in UFC history, Jones has had to deal with comments about his personal life.

The person known as the ‘MMA Guru’ posted a video with various clips of Jones to suggest he was gay. Jones is currently engaged to Jessie Moses. The duo met in high school before getting engaged in 2013. Jones was dissatisfied with the suggestions, as he shut down those claims.

Jones Reacts

"A random loser with a microphone in his basement…Crazy that we live in the world where influencers can persuade the minds of the boys on the Internet. Literally some random loser with a microphone in his basement. People can just say anything they want these days, I find it fascinating," Jones wrote said

There is another incident Jones has had to deal with. Reports indicated he had threatened to kill a drug testing officer who had visited his house with a colleague. It was alleged that he was intoxicated, with suggestions Jones grabbed her phone so she could not call the authorities. Jones later released footage showing him peacefully walking them to a car. Jones also rejected claims he had been arrested.
